Brenna is a strong heroine who is overcoming her past and trying to love her husband. Michael and Brenna's struggles seem believable and readers will become a part of their lives.
Grace Burrowes is exploring darker themes in THE LAIRD, and the storyline is bleaker than most of her other novels. Readers will still find themselves lost in the story, and the ending is enjoyable and moving. THE LAIRD is a powerful story of forgiveness and love.
