Jack is in line to take over the reigns of the family business. His father Jack Sr. always had a little secret. Upon his death, Jack Jr. learns the secret. His grandfather had been on the Titanic and went down with the ship. Jack Sr. always wanted to find out the truth of what had happened to his dad. Jack Sr. had spent a lot of money to try and bring the Titanic up from below the sea. Having passed away before this could happen, Jack Jr. now feels he must do everything he can to carry out his father's wishes.
Jack gives up everything for this mission. He loses the women that he loves, he almost loses the company before he even becomes the CEO. Not only does he have this all going on, but there is someone out there trying to kill him. All that remains for Jack Jr. is to finish what his father started.
Robert Lebrun tells the back story of the Titanic. Perhaps this a true story of his family. I have always been interested in the Titanic; have seen several movies on it. I never gave a thought to the people who perished. ALL THAT REMAINS tells some of what could have happened. I suppose some of the people who did survive have a lot of stories to tell. LeBrun wrote ALL THAT REMAINS using the family of someone who had lost their life on the Titanic and what they would go though afterwards.
ALL THAT REMAINS is an interesting story. On the back of the book, the author mentions that he wrote this book so that other people would tell their friends about it. I will be one of those people.
