BACK TO YOU is book three in Jessica Scott's Coming
Home series. BACK TO YOU is the story of Trent and Laura. Their marriage
is dying a
slow death and not because of another woman, but because of
his other
love, the Army. Captain Trent Davila has a beautiful wife,
two children, and
a successful career in the military. After he is wounded on
a mission and
almost dies, he loses a piece of himself, thinking he
doesn't deserve to live,
and now he is feeling lost and unable to cope with life.
After he recovers he
volunteers for every mission he can and stays away from his
family. He
doesn't want them to see the man he has become. Now he's
back in the
U.S. after being fired and charged for crimes he didn't
commit. To make
matters worse, his wife has filed for divorce. Divorce is
not what she wants
and it is breaking her heart, but she can't continue to
live like this. Her love
is not enough for him, and that hurts worse because asking
for divorce
doesn't stop her heart from wanting.
In order for Trent to beat the charges, his lawyer tells him
he needs to
make nice with Laura and be a happy couple. How the heck is
he going to
do that when she barely looks at him? Will they be able to
pull it off? Can

Trent and Laura's story is going to make you fall in love
with them and at
the same time it is going to break your heart. A word of
warning, keep the
tissues close by and be prepared not to do anything else
until you are
finished reading. Once you start you won't be able to stop
until the very
last page.
BACK TO YOU is a heart shredding look at the troubles our
military heroes face when coming home from war. It is hard
to read at
some points but I love how Trent and Laura's story had me
crying ugly!
BACK TO YOU takes you to a very emotional and fragile place
-- into the
mind of a returning soldier. Jessica Scott creates these
tough, but very delicate
characters better than anyone else I've read and the whole
time I was
reading BACK TO YOU all I wanted to do was give Trent a hug.
The
characters emotions felt very real and I could feel the
heartbreak that they
are feeling. Buckle up because once you start reading you
are going to
feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster! Hang on
tight! I finished
BACK TO YOU with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.
I can't wait
to continue with this series as I am emotionally invested in
Trent and
Laura's lives!
SUMMARY
