Vengeance is all that has kept Arden Moran going for many years. Nothing will stop her especially not acting alpha Wolfe Trevlian. She will not be MOON KISSED by the wolf shifter no matter how sexy and devastating he might be.
Wolfe Trevlian had moved away from New Orleans, returning to the Big Easy only at his alpha's call. His job is simple ... keep an eye on the pack and initiate a truce with the local vamps until the alpha returns to take back his pack. Yes ... easy ... except what the vamps want him to do is impossible. To enjoy a pact all he has to do is kill a local pest and all will be friendly. One big problem: As soon as he comes face to face with the "pest" he warns the vamps away from his mate. Okay so he had to knock her out to keep her from killing the guy and now he has to make her understand why he did it. How do you make a half vampire/half human believe that she is a shifters mate? And she shouldn't kill the master vamp she has been working so hard to kill?
And what do you do when the vamps and your mate won't back off and your so called friends are only standing around watching you make a fool of yourself? Maybe it's time to be the alpha you were born to be ... or die trying to make your mate's life safe.
MOON KISSED is a fabulously fast paced, thrill ride. I loved the first meeting ... a little whiff of something for Wolfe and then having to knock her out before she can kill the vamp he is meeting with... then of course having to explain everything to Arden once she wakes up, puts a different twist to love at first sight. Author Aline Hunter brings to life this world with the different types of vampires, the lycae and then there is Arden who is a real surprise even to herself. Wolfe and Arden are a sexy, very sexual couple and even when neither is sure how it could be possible that they could be mates, they can't keep their hands off each other. I thought it was an interesting twist that when Wolfe goes on his own to put an end to the danger to Arden, she, his pack and friends have to go in and rescue him. To me this added a nice touch, because the pack was using this to force him into doing right by them as well as his mate. All in all a fantastic concept in an amazing storyline. I can't wait to see what Ms. Hunter comes up with next.
Claiming your mate can be murderβ¦
Bitter memories have kept Wolfe Trevlian away from New
Orleans, but an alphaβs call for help has him reluctantly
returning to the Big Easy. His tasks sound simple: Keep an
eye on things, and initiate a truce with the packβs enemies
by killing a local pest.
His target turns out to be the last creature on earth who
should be his mate. His instincts insist otherwise, even
after she fills his hide with silver and warns him to leave
her alone.
Arden Moran looked into the mind of her dying friend and saw
the face of a killer. Vengeance has brought this half human,
half vampire to New Orleans. Nothing will stop her from
nailing her target, including the bossy, sexy werewolf who
stirs both fear and desire within her.
Wolfeβs never been one to back down from a challenge, but
saving, and then claiming, his female is easier said than
done. Particularly with a mate whoβs pissed off every
supernatural creature on the planetβand is walking around
with a price on her head.

Warning: Contains a reluctant substitute alpha who didnβt
sign up for complications, a wary half-breed vampire whoβd
love to take βnoβ for an answerβespecially since itβs her
βnoββand friends who refuse to interfere, figuring itβs more
fun to sit back and watch the fur fly.
