SEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID is part of Entangled's Wedding Dare series. The books in this series are written by many different authors. Although this is not the first book in the series, I was still able to follow the story and enjoy it without having read the previous books. However, after reading SEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID, I am intrigued by the other characters and their various storylines, so I plan on checking out the other books.

Right from the start of the book, Regan Wakefield projects a very jaded persona. She seems like a very strong willed, confident woman who goes after what she wants. I found her personality to be a little too abrasive at first. Thankfully, as the book goes on, author Katee Robert peels back Regan's layers to reveal her inner vulnerability. She was so harsh with Brock right from the first moment he started pursuing her. He really was a glutton for punishment. She struck me as being a modern day female rake, complete with the ennui.

Brock McNeil comes off, at first, like the shallow player Regan believes him to be. However, he also turned out to have an interesting vulnerability to him. I love the moment when Regan reveals the same feelings of insecurity and inadequacy that Brock usually feels. That shows how similar the two are, even though they didn't realize it. You can't help but feel sympathetic toward Brock after hearing how he is usually passed over for guys like his brother. Most people, including Regan, don't realize what a big heart he has.

As with most Katee Robert books, the romance in SEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID is red hot. The chemistry between Brock and Regan make for some sizzling, sexy scenes. SEDUCING THE BRIDESMAID is a sexy, fun romance between two people who drive each other crazy--in more ways than one. I look forward to reading more books by Katee Robert!
