Brody Janik is your tropical cocky football player. He had everything going for him and now is getting ready to sign an extension with his super bowl team. Only one problem is getting in his way -- he is a borderline diabetic. Brody knows that if the team finds out he probably will not get the extension.

Shannon Evert is trying to finish her PhD. Shannon works several jobs, just to pay for her college degree. Shannon takes a job with the Blaze, which just happens to be the team that Brody plays for. Her job will also be to get inside information for a blogger trying to get information on the team.

Shannon's PhD is in nutrition. After sneaking into the locker room of the Blaze, she finds out that Brody may be a diabetic. Shannon is not happy trying to get info on the team especially after she finds out this info. Shannon confronts Brody and agrees to help him keep this secret and to help him keep his sugar problem under control.

The more time that the two spend together, they realize that they have an attraction to each other. Shannon makes his meals and snacks to that he gets just the right amount of sugar a day. However, the blogger gets a hold of this info and now they are both playing a risking game.

Brody offers Shannon a challenge. Play his girlfriend keep his secret and he won't let on to anyone that she was for a short time helping the secret blogger. Meanwhile, the Blaze and several other teams are trying very hard to find out who the blogger is. Brody has just started to trust Shannon, when someone lets it leak out that she is working for the blogger.

Shannon is very upset when this is reveled even though she is not the blogger. Brody is even more upset because he trusted her with his secret and now it is out. So the big question is who really is the blogger is and now this has become a RISKY GAME for all.

I really like reading RISKY GAME. Tracy Solheim combined football along with love. Football is one of my favorite sports to watch and I have often wondering how players meet their mate.
