Can two people from such different worlds find peace and
maybe even love? KISS OF WRATH takes readers on an emotional
roller coaster ride of emotions. It deals with many
different topics like rape and domestic abuse. Some things
may offend some readers. This may be more evil than most
romance readers are used to, but Sandra Hill makes it all
work. This latest book in the Deadly Angels series
has all the things we are used to seeing from this author
which include humor, attraction and so much more.
Can Mordr find a way to help Miranda and keep her and the
children safe without hurting himself? The attraction
between the two is strong and watching Miranda and Mordr
work through it all makes for a great read. Many parts of
their story will pull on your heartstrings while others will
make you laugh out loud and even more parts will have you
cheering for the good guys. KISS OF WRATH is a page turner,
full of action and romance. I was enthralled right from the
start and did not want my visit to end.
While KISS OF WRATH can be read as a stand-alone it is
better to read the Deadly Angels series in order to
better understand the world Sandra Hill has created. This
series is more intense than others by this author.
I really enjoyed the growth of the characters. Mordr is a
good man at heart and even after all that he has been
through he still fights for the side of good. Miranda is a
strong woman who finds herself in need of a hero and Mordr
is just the man for the job. The two make a great couple.
Mordr must come to terms and deal with his past to move into
his future. So much is going on in KISS OF WRATH. I could
not put it down and found myself reading just one more page
each time I tried to do just that. I enjoyed seeing Mordr
and Miranda find love and good win over evil, but we all
know the war is not over yet, and I cannot wait to see what
happens next in the Deadly Angels world.
The vangels are back in Kiss of Wrath, the latest in Sandra
Hill's bestselling Dark Angels series
No wicked wenches or wild rampages…it's been centuries since
Mordr the Berserker was turned into a Vangel-a Viking
Vampire Angel-as punishment for his sin of wrath, and he's
been frustrated ever since. It's not so bad being stuck in
modern-day Las Vegas. What better place to slay Lucipires,
or demon vampires, than the original Sin City. But then
Mordr Sigurdsson's mission is expanded to a new assignment:
protect lust-worthy Miranda Hart.
Miranda's well-ordered life turned into chaos when she
unexpectedly inherited her late cousin's five children. Now,
her cousin's dangerous husband is about to be paroled, and
she needs a miracle to keep them all safe. That miracle
arrives on her doorstep in the form of a very buff, handsome
man with a very strange name. Mordr wants nothing to do with
a red-haired wench or children. Miranda wants nothing to do
with gorgeous hunk who claims to be a Viking.
As Miranda and Mordr give in to temptation, they must decide
if they fit in each other's worlds-before their enemies
close in on them.
