The war between the paranormals and the Venifucus is ramping up. The Redstone clan has sent BOBCAT, aka Robert Redstone, to the Lords of the Were to exchange the information that they had gathered on this enemy. Bob was honored to have been chosen by his brother, Grif, alpha of the clan to do this job and he was learning as much as he was teaching.
One evening while letting his cougar run, he meet up with a lovely female BOBCAT. They romped and played and Bob even offered her a fish, which she took and ran off. He learned from the Lords' second that the little cat's name was Serena and she had a troubled past and to be careful of her ... or else.
Serena had been orphaned as a child, raised partly by humans until a bobcat clan realized what she was. After her adoption by her own kind, she felt that she had been thrown into hell. She is just starting to come alive, with the help of the good people around her after her rescue, and now especially with the good-looking cougar being so gentle, kind and of course, sexy as all get out.
Suddenly their haven is under attack and Bob has only Serena's protection in mind. As they race to safety they find that Jazzy, a warrior-shaman and Serena's rescuer, is now in danger and they must help him. Not happy to place Serena in danger, but proud that she is willing to go into battle with him ... they set out to her former territory. They have no choice but to face the evil if they are to have a future.
TALE OF THE WERE: BOBCAT is a fantastic, heart gripping, action packed read. The battle against the evil Venifucus is escalating but that is not all that this book is about. Author Bianca D'Arc is showing us the more sensitive side of one of the gorgeous Redstone men, though so far they have all been gentle men despite being alphas. I loved how Bob was careful around Serena, sensing her troubles and not pushing anything. Serena grew stronger with every page turned until she believed in herself and in her growing love for Bob. The action that comes later is fast and furious and many things about her past come to light that Serena, and the readers, would never have seen coming. I enjoyed TALE OF THE WERE:BOBCAT,and couldn't wait to get my hands on it and after I was done ... I wanted the next one. All I can say is ... please keep them coming Ms. D'Arc!
