Holly Krauss is a successful businesswoman -- who has a huge
secret. There's a part of her life she doesn't share with
anyone, not even her adoring husband, Charlie. No one knows
the things that Holly does in the night, until her lies
start to catch up with her. As Holly's friends, business
associates and husband start to understand that she's
falling apart, everything crashes.
Holly has bipolar disorder. By the time she has a breakdown
and ends up in a hospital, finding help, she has royally
screwed up her life. She owes money to some really bad
people, she is apparently being stalked and odd things are
going on.
But Holly has to struggle with how her life is changing.
The medication may make her more stable, but losing her
mood fluctuations makes her feel a little lost. Learning to
function on a different level, Holly struggles to adapt to
her life and wonders how much the odd things going on may
be a figment of her imagination. Because she feels as if
her life really is in danger.
Wow! I think that one word says it all. For anyone who's
familiar with the challenges of living with bipolar
disorder, this book will yank parts of your heart. Even for
those who don't know much about this condition, CATCH ME
WHEN I FALL will draw you into Holly's world. This is a
terrific book, with a little bit of everything for all
readers. I will say it's not a "happy, happy" book -- so I'd
leave it alone if you're looking for some light reading.
A successful, happily married businesswoman, Holly Krauss is
loved and admired by everyone she meets. But that's only one
side of Holly: the other takes regular walks on the wild
side. When the two sides of Holly's life collide, her world
spirals out of control . . .
