Allie had always thought that James and she would end up
together. But along comes Wade, and Allie thought she found
the man of her dreams. As Allie life moves on, she
realized that her life was far from being perfect. Wade has
a habit of cheating on her.
By a strange encounter, Allie meets women named Jackie.
Jackie has been wronged by several men in her life. Little
did Allie know that Jackie was one of the women that Wade
had cheated with. Jackie wants Allie's help in bringing
down several men who are laundering money in a foreign
country.
Allie is having a very hard time believing what Jackie is
telling her. Allie is going though too much in her life
right now. James is still a good friend after all they have
been though. James seems to be the only one that Allie can
talk to about what is going on in her life.
Allie is trying very hard not to believe what Jackie is
telling her, but after looking though papers in Wade's
office, the puzzle seems to be coming together. Did he
really do everything that Jackie is saying. Allie's Idea of
Him is slowing changing.
Holly Peterson's books are great reads. Holly's book made
me
think of some of the men who have in the past caused me
pain. Almost every woman has probably has gone through
something
like this in their lives. I feel by reading THE IDEA OF
HIM, it
does make women really think about their past and if they
could do what Allie did to get her revenge.
I really feel that THE IDEA OF HIM is a good summer read,
while
relaxing on the beach or just sitting in your own back yard.
