Romance

Goldilocks Reaper, aka agent MX-401, is a female assassin for an organization called the Barbarians. Her latest assignment in Trinidad has her questioning her orders, particularly when the entire job falls apart and she has to escape to nearby Barbados. Now, this female assassin finds herself targeted by a local group called the Laventille Killers (LKs) with minimal support from the Barbarians. The Reaper isn't one to take threats to herself lightly however, as her own personal war with the LKs is about to escalate....

Wow! A WANTED WOMAN is the first book I've read by Eric Jerome Dickey but I've already hunted down a copy of one of his other books. A WANTED WOMAN is a wickedly wild roller coaster ride that doesn't stop long enough for the reader to take a breath. I couldn't put A WANTED WOMAN DOWN so I read while I ate, while I walked around the house, heck I read this book from start to finish in one day as I had to see just what crazy adventure would happen next!

A WANTED WOMAN is dark, exhilarating, and sometimes gruesome look at just how nasty things can get when a deadly assassin's life is at stake. Reaper shows absolutely no mercy to those who oppose her as she gives new meaning to the phrase "ruthless killer". Eric Jerome Dickey's compelling writing and the fast paced suspense and action make A WANTED WOMAN an adrenaline-charged and thrilling tale that keeps the reader guessing till the very end. What a ride! I can't wait to read my next Eric Jerome Dickey book!

SUMMARY

The twenty-first novel from New York Times bestselling author Eric Jerome Dickey, a steamy thriller set in tropical Barbados

She is a woman of a thousand faces, an assassin who could be anyone, anywhere.

The Trinidad contract was supposed to be simple: to make a living man become a dead man. When the job goes bad under the watchful eye of a bank security camera, there is nowhere for agent MX-401, known as Reaper, to hide from the fearsome local warlords, the Laventille Killers.

Her employers, the Barbarians, send her to Barbados, the next island over, barely two hundred miles away, with the LK’s in hot pursuit of the woman who took many of their own. With the scant protection of a dank safe house, no passport, and no access to funds, an island paradise becomes her prison.

While she trawls for low-profile assignments to keep her skills sharp and a few dollars in her pocket, Reaper discovers that family ties run deep, on both sides of the fight. Will the woman everyone wants, who has lived countless lives in the service of others, finally discover who she really is?
