JAGUAR'S KISS is book one in the Lone Pine Pride series by Vivi Andrews. Lila is the Lone Pine Pride Alpha's only child and only daughter. Lila has been engaged to marry her father's successor most of her life.
She has always done as she was told to prepare herself for this job. When the wedding date is set, Lila realizes that she doesn't know the man she is suppose to marry and will probably never love him and he will never love her. Marrying him is the right thing to do for the Pride and stability.
Lila has always done what is right and she doesn't plan on changing that now. That is until Santiago Flores tells her he loves her and has since the first time he saw her. Lila finally sees something she wants for herself, Santiago and now for the first time in her life she is confused. Duty and Pride they are all that matters, but she can't stop herself where Santiago is concerned.
JAGUAR'S KISS is n outstanding start to this series and I can't wait for the next. The characters introduced are intriguing and the world of the Lone Pine Pride has so much room to build. Internal Pride struggle and then the problems in the outside world give Vivi Andrews so many places to go with this series. I am looking forward to the next story in the lives of the shifters of the Lone Pine Pride.
To get what he wants, he’ll have to rattle her cage…
Lone Pine Pride, Book 1
Lila Fallon, the Lone Pine Pride Alpha’s only daughter, has
been betrothed since childhood to marry her father’s chosen
successor. The match is designed to maintain peace by
shoring up any cracks in pride solidarity.
She’s always known she would do her duty—she just never
expected to meet a man who would tempt her to throw it all
away.
As a black panther, Santiago Flores couldn’t be a less
suitable mate for the Alpha’s purebred lioness daughter. But
that doesn’t change the fact that for every one of the five
years he’s been with the Lone Pine Pride, he’s been
head-over-heels in love with her. And when the Alpha
announces that Lila’s indefinite engagement is about to end
in a very definite marriage, Santiago is through holding his
peace.
From their very first kiss, Santiago rattles Lila’s neatly
ordered world. But can a lioness who’s always lived to
please everyone else risk everything to please herself?
Warning: This book contains tempting lone-wolf jaguars,
lionesses who long for fairy tale endings, arranged
marriages, tangled emotions and a pride full of trouble.
