Eight months after the dismantle of the Elite Ops, living under a different name and assumed life, Tehya begins to build a life for herself in Hagerstown, Maryland. She has her own home, a business, and is secretly watching over her cousin Journey. Although Journey doesn't know she is the long lost niece of the family. For once in Tehya's life, she is almost happy. But then Jordan shows up in the middle of the night and she knows her tiny bit of happiness will soon be shattered.

Jordan intercepts a communication of someone who has identified and located Tehya's new existence. Jordan assembles a team together and rushes to Hagerstown to keep her safe, but Tehya is not ready to be on the run again.

As the pair take a stand again the threat against Tehya, the attraction for one another that lead to their last night together comes rushing back to them. Before they realize it, their feelings are already too strong to ignore. All Tehya can think about is will she be able to survive the heartbreak that she believes is coming once she is out of danger. Jordan already knows he can not walk away from Tehya, but what he hasn't yet realized is how much of his heart he has already given her.

I really enjoyed LIVE WIRE. Although it is the sixth in the series, it can also be a stand alone as well. I had no trouble following the story line and just loved the characters. Tehya is an intelligent, hard working woman able to stand on her own two feet. Her only weakness was Jordan. Jordan was exactly what I expected of the hardened military career man that lost his mother, and others close to him. Feeling that he has to hide behind a stone cold heart in order to protect himself. The rest of the characters are just as well loved as these two are. I can't wait to see what Lora Leigh comes out with next.
