TOUGH LOVE is a story that is convoluted with family drama, secrets and twisted lies. Once again, Heidi Cullinan places a great emphasis on BDSM, including watersports and exhibitionism. As much kink there is in this book, Cullinan manages to pull it off, creating sexy scenes without making them feel contrived or forced. One thing I am constantly impressed about is how Cullinan can continue to introduce and explore the various aspects of BDSM without making it feel too over the top. While Chenco is probably one of the more eccentric of her characters, a lot of his kinks do feel like they suit him well.

Loyal readers of this series will enjoy the familiar characters in this book. Cullinan further builds on what she has created in the first couple of books in the series to develop a well-rounded series with unique characters. Although TOUGH LOVE is the third in the Special Delivery series, it is one that can be enjoyed as a standalone.
