Romance Paranormal

David Aronowitz has devoted his life to the Execution Underground and now he feels he has failed the one person he has ever loved- Allsún O'Hare, his ex-fiancée. David uses his abilities as an exorcist with the Execution Underground to help fight the demons that plague mankind but that didn't help him save Allsún from the clutches of a madman who tortured and imprisoned her. Unfortunately, things are about to get much worse as something is stalking the families of David's town and David and Allsún may be the only ones who can stop the diabolical plot.

IMMORTAL HUNTER is the second book in Kait Ballenger's Execution Underground series and is a superb sequel to the phenomenal, TWILIGHT HUNTER. The storyline picks right up where the first book, Twilight Hunter, teased us with the image of Allsún injured and hospitalized. However, IMMORTAL HUNTER is easily a standalone story as the prior events are only a minimal part of IMMORTAL HUNTER and Kait Ballenger gives readers all the back history they need to dive right into this fascinating series.

Kait Ballenger does a spectacular job with character development, giving us a couple who are battered and bruised but still willing to fight for what they believe in. I love that David and Allsún both have some imperfections and their past history makes the story all the more poignant. The attraction between them is never in doubt but can they exorcise their own past demons to give love another shot?

IMMORTAL HUNTER is paranormal romance at its finest! Kait Ballenger takes readers on an emotional roller coaster in IMMORTAL HUNTER as the action and the tear jerker moments go hand in hand to create one heck of a tale. Kait Ballenger has hooked me, both with her world building and her character development, as I can't wait to see what is next in store for the Execution Underground!

SUMMARY

Hunters of the supernatural, the Execution Underground are an elite group tasked with protecting humanity…but at what price?

As an exorcist, David Aronowitz grew up the target of demonic assassins. Now he's a member of the Execution Underground, and hellspawn everywhere fear his name. But when a demon slips into the seductive body of the only woman he's ever loved, David must confront the heartbreak of their past to save her.

The piece of her heart Allsún O'Hare gave to David so long ago left her trapped between two worlds: the Fae and the human. And when David comes to her rescue, fate reunites her with her greatest temptation—and her biggest mistake.

Now, as they're swept together into a wicked game with the demon who controls her, David must decide if saving Allsún's life is worth sacrificing his own—and the future of humanity itself
