Holly is 32 years old, widowed and felt that food was her only friend. Holly is returning from a meeting to finally finish her husband's estate. Since his death, Holly has put on a lot of weight. Not only does she hate to fly, but on this trip she could not get first class and has to settle for coach. Holly tells herself to just put on her big girl panties and get over this.

Enter Logan, a personal trainer who also hates to fly. Logan couldn't get a first class seat either, so he's stuck in coach. Logan see's Holly coming down the aisle, and can only hope she would not be sitting next to him.

Neither Holly nor Logan wants to sit next to each other. Both have their own reason's why. Logan doesn't want to strike up a conversation with Holly, but he notices that she is gripping the seat and not breathing. Logan encourages her to breath. Once Holly is back to breathing they do start talking.

Logan offers to help Holly with getting herself back into shape and Holly accepts. This starts the reincarnation of Holly. Logan and Holly strike up a friendship only relationship. Now we get to meet Logan's best friend Chase and his wife Amanda. Amanda feels that Holly would be great for Logan, as he usually goes for the blonde bombshells. Chase wants her to stay out of Logan's love life.

Logan and Holly hang out as friends, but Holly realizes that there is more to her feelings than Logan's. Holly continues to lose weight and build back up her confidence. More man are starting to pay attention to Holly, and Logan doesn't like it one bit. Can he get over the fact that Holly is not what he usually looks for in a woman?

BIG GIRL PANTIES by Stephanie Evanovich is pretty funny. I found myself comparing myself to Holly in many ways. I also wear big girl panties. Holly's transformation takes her from wearing big girl panties to gaining self-confidence. Logan realizes that there is more to a person than looks. It really is what is inside. I found myself laughing out loud on some of the things that Holly did to get Logan's attention. In one case, when Holly was very upset with Logan, she showed up at a big gala, dressed as the ugly duckling.

Want a great summer book to read? Well I have one for you: BIG GIRL PANTIES by Stephanie Evanovich. It's a great book to make you laugh out loud.

SUMMARY

Big Girl Panties by Stephanie Evanovich is a rollicking and poignant romantic comedy about a young widow who decides to get in shape...and winds up getting her groove back—and a whole lot more! Holly Brennan used food to comfort herself through her husband's illness and death. Now she's alone at age thirty-two. And she weighs more than she ever has. When fate throws her in the path of Logan Montgomery, personal trainer to pro athletes, and he offers to train her, Holly concludes it must be a sign. Much as she dreads the thought of working out, Holly knows she needs to put on her big girl panties and see if she can sweat out some of her grief. Soon, the easy intimacy and playful banter of their training sessions lead Logan and Holly to most intense and steamy workouts. But can Holly and Logan go the distance as a couple now that she's met her goals—and other men are noticing?
