Trey DeLuca, the youngest sibling in the DeLuca family, is also the VP of Sales for the family wine company. Trey is called home to St. Helena in the Napa Valley with the impression his grandmother is dying. However, far from it, Nonna requires his presence to dance at the annual Winter Garden Gala held on Valentine's Day of each year. Always the playboy, Trey shuns putting down roots and is the last of the four brothers not so far succumbed to love, marriage & children.
His first sight is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Tiny Sara Reed owns a dance studio and struggles to survive with her son after moving to St Helena less than a year ago to start over following the death of her husband. Completely smitten, he convinces Sara to secretly enjoy each other for the month of February before he moves to Italy in March to oversee the family business. Commitment being his greatest fear, Trey finds it harder and harder to turn away from what he thought was a short affair and the greatest and most tender sex he has ever experienced. Falling in love with her six year old son Cooper only complicates his plans. It takes his grandmother to open his eyes as to what is important and to take the leap when he finds true and forever love. Convincing Sara he won't bolt and will be there for her and Cooper may take some doing after he announces he still has to go to Italy, putting Sara second in his life.
This installment of the St. Helena Vineyard series is compassionate and heartwarming when two lost souls find the forever love they need. Marina Adair makes the reading of BE MINE FOREVER completely easy as she draws you into the characters and their feelings. I found this to be a very well written book full of warmth and emotion of two people who have lost loved ones and afraid to love again with fear of being hurt. I was captivated at the very first page and remained there through the very last one. I truly look forward to the next in this series......a DO NOT MISS!
