Ashton "Ash" Louis Wallace is on his last job as a closer for Jesso-Riley Development firm to buy land on Bayberry Island for a Casino and resort with a Marina and golf course. Mona Flynn and family are refusing to destroy their island while most of the residents are slowly becoming broke and want to sell. Ash arrives in his boat, the Provenance, under the pretense of an engine breakdown to infiltrate the residents, especially Monas daughter, Rowan, who could be the weak link in gaining the approval for the purchase.

Arriving during their Mermaid Festival, Ash is chosen as the "man grab" to kiss the hand of the statue to find his everlasting true love, however reluctantly. Ash didn't expect Rowan to be a gorgeous and truly caring individual. Having previously been pulled into a false love affair Rowan's heart is heavy and she denies any of the legends of the mermaid and wants nothing to do with it. Sizzling sex is fast between the couple and after evaluating the whole situation, Ash changes his mind and believes the acquisition would actually ruin the small island and its residents. Turning in his resignation, Ash comes up with an alternative solution, but not without the fear he will lose the love of his life when she finds he has lied to her and tricked her. Extreme measures are needed now to convince Rowan of his undying and eternal love.

SEA OF LOVE is another Bayberry Island novel. Each in the series just gets better and better. This author truly has the talent and ability to compile a fun and loving story, complete with comedy and lots of good hot sex as well as a heart-warming plot. This is definitely a book you can't put down. These characters will all worm their way under your skin and keep you enthralled throughout the tale while stealing your heart. This is one you will not want to miss!!
