Lydia Colson is a midwife trying running from her dark past. The past year she has been avoiding intrusive questions on the whereabouts of her husband who has been away the past year she has settled in Salem. Henry must find a way to save Lydia before she is sent to the gallows. As for the stranger looking for Lydia, it turns out it is someone they both know.
I really enjoyed HER WICKED SIN. Being the first, it is a great way to start The Sins of Salem Series. The characters are strong with pasts that neither are too proud of. Henry having come from a wealthy family where marriage is being forced upon him. Lydia's dark past comes from running from her abusive husband. I can't wait to see what the next book in the series brings!
