RISKY by Jo Davis is the second installment in Ms. Davis' Torn Between Two Lovers series and a wonderful follow up story to Raw.

Anne Claire is enjoying her time alone on the beach in Aruba when her piece and quiet is interrupted by a tall, dark, and gorgeous stranger. When he asks to sit with her, she knows it is more about him asking a polite question then expecting her to say no.

Introductions are made and she cannot place why his name Joaquin is so familiar. She later learns his last name is Delacruz, that name she knows. Yes, he is the brother to Manny. The person that got her on the FBI's radar, more specifically Grayson Sloane's, almost thrown in jail for running drugs and put her restaurant in jeopardy. Joaquin is also Grayson Sloane's biggest nemesis and the reason she is in Aruba to begin with. Anne is trying to mend a broken heart after being lied to by Grayson. She is not sure what to do with Joaquin, but figures talking to him won't hurt anything.

I thought the chemistry between Anne and Grayson was hot. That is until I read RISKY and the chemistry between Anna and Joaquin is hotter, if that is even possible. MS. Davis had a poll on her website for readers to let her know who they wanted to see Anne with, and whoever got the most votes is who she would end up with. But we will not find out the answer until 2014 when the next book comes out.

This reviewer has no idea who she wants to see win Anne's affection. Both men have just as many good qualities as bad, both have jobs that would put Anne in harm's way, and either would be a perfect match for her. If you have not read this series, you should. It is worth your time and the books are short if you do not have a lot of time to read.
