DRAGON AWAKENED is a fascinating, action packed and sexy paranormal. This book is the first of author Jaime Rush's new The Hidden Series and I thought laid out the world and magic scenario perfectly. The main characters of Cyn and Ruby were perfectly antagonistic towards each other until the truth literally hit Ruby. Once she learns the truth about herself she takes to the training that Cyn has to offer ... among other things. I found it fun to watch her growth as a dragon and see him fight his dragon who wanted her as his. A losing battle to be sure, but it was entertaining to watch the fight. I look forward to Ms. Rush's next installment of this series.
