Major Jesse Moore, brother of Wyoming Pack Alpha, has been
chasing some bad guys all the way to Iowa. He doesn't
believe in coincidence and wonders about what led these
guys to this location. He was planning a trip to this state
to check his new sister-in-law's long lost cousin Maria
Garibaldi. Strange things have led him on this WOLF QUEST.
There is no time for introductions as he breaks open her
door ... and finds one man out cold and the other struggling
to get out from underneath the night gowned beauty. Jesse
is in love.
Maria Garibaldi, is an exotic animal vet who runs a
sanctuary. She's had a little trouble with the neighbors
but this takes the cake. She has managed to take down the
two who were breaking in to turn and find another. This one
she doesn't think she will be able to take down with her
martial arts. And when he starts talking magic, Venifucus
and shifters she's worried that she subdued the wrong men.
On top of everything she finds that one of the animals that
was brought to her is in fact a grizzly shifter, she is
apologetic and starts to at least hear what Jesse is
telling her. Even if she can only half believe that she is
a descendent of a Dryad and possibly more, with magic at
her fingertips. As they travel toward the heart of an
unexplained storm, her magic grows as does her feelings for
the ex-Special Forces shifter that had come to disrupt her
perfectly ordered life. Something she would have to find a
way to thank him for someday.
WOLF QUEST is the magical, action packed and steamy sequel
to Wolf Hills. Maria is feisty, not about to stand around
waiting to be rescued and will do what she must for those
she cares about. Jesse is an alpha in his own right but
leads his pack of Special Forces, military shifters known
as the Wraiths, while his younger brother is pack alpha.
This sexy, shifter has his head on right and the woman who
is his perfect match is quick and learns her craft so she
is an asset to him. I loved the dynamic of everyone
involved including the camaraderie of the team, other
shifters and even the vampire Marco who helps the group
fight the evil.
Author Bianca D'Arc never disappoints her
readers by throwing out less than quality work. WOLF QUEST
is
definitely one worth reading and keeping.
Love and magic lie at the heart of this storm…as well as a
whole lot of danger.
Brotherhood of Blood, Book 7
When Major Jesse Moore, brother to the Wyoming Pack Alpha,
is sent to Iowa to check on his sister-in-law’s cousin,
knocking politely isn’t an option. Sounds of a struggle send
him storming into her kitchen—where he finds anything but a
damsel in distress. The tiny human woman knows how to handle
herself in a fight, and all Jesse’s senses shout she’s his
mate.
Exotic-animal vet, Maria Garibaldi has never trusted the
magic her aunt and grandmother claim is her birthright.
She’s always known about the Others, but she had no idea she
was also part of their world. When Maria sets out with Jesse
to find the parents of a young grizzly shifter she found and
treated, she learns the meaning of temptation in the form of
the ex-Special Forces soldier.
As passion flares, the trail leads them toward the eye of a
massive storm…where an unspeakable evil awaits the right
moment to destroy the good in the magical world.
Warning: Things get explicit when a werewolf wants his mate
and he doesn’t care where they are. Outdoors, indoors,
wherever and whenever—never get between a wolf and his
woman.
