Romance Suspense

UNBREAKABLE by Stephanie Tyler is a suspenseful, wild ride and a perfect next instalment of Ms. Tyler's S8 series. The story between Avery and Gunner is one of blazing chemistry, secrets and misplaced protection. Gunner gets the phone call he has been expecting and dreading. To protect his friends and especially Avery, he disappears back into his old life. The problem is, is that Avery and Jem are having none of it. They hatch a plan to find Gunner, kidnap him and make him rejoin them. To see if their plan works you will have to read UNBREAKABLE. There is a reason Gunner's story is titled UNBREAKABLE, and when you read why it will amaze you. The chemistry between Gunner and Avery is blazing hot on its own, but throw Jem in for good measure and you have a great story. These characters are very likable and will have you cheering for their victory. Even though how they accomplish their goal of good is sometimes questionable, and they admit that, they always have the best intentions of rescuing the women and children. Ms. Tyler's writing style and ability to tell a good story will have you reading as fast as you can to see what comes next. I highly recommend UNBREAKABLE to anyone that is a fan of romantic suspense. If you are a fan of Ms. Tyler's this is one book not to miss. If you have not read any of her books, what are you waiting for? You are missing out on some of the best romantic suspense stories out there.

SUMMARY

THIS IS SECTION 8. A cabal of operatives with dangerous pasts teams up to work black ops missions. Their weapon: deception. Can they help one of their own before he goes too far? When Gunner agreed to help Section 8, he didn't realize he'd be pulled back into the shadowy world he thought he'd escaped forever. The son of double agents, he was initiated at a young age into the cold world of espionage when his father forced him to work for international smuggler Drew Landon. And when Gunner's past with Landon threatens the other mercenaries, and, most important, Avery, he makes an impossible choice...and disappears. Avery's not willing to give up on Gunner. The attraction between them has been there from the start, and she rallies Section 8 to help him. She knows there's only one way to keep Gunner safe: fake his death and take him off the grid. But when she finally locates him, Gunner is a changed man, harder, more desperate, and on the edge of self–destruction. And only Avery can find a way to free him from Landon—and from the demons of his past—before it's too late.
