Romance

Olivia Sullivan left her small town to follow her dream of being an architect. She left not only her three best friends, but her first love Rafe, the town bad boy. Olivia thought her life was going in the right direction, until the architecture firm terminated her. Very disappointed she heads home to Oregon.

When Olivia was a teenage, she fell in love with Rafe. Rafe was the bad boy of the town and her father was completely against her seeing him. One day Rafe disappears, living Olivia heartbroken. Now years later, Rafe is back in town. He left the bad boy and comes back to be a new sheriff. Rafe spent time in the service and now is ready to settle down in his home town.

All of their life's three girls, Olivia, Caro, Jill and Grace have been more like sisters than friends. When you saw Olivia, the other three were not far behind. Once Olivia is home, all four girls decide to become business partners and buy an old house to show off their different businesses.

Rafe and Olivia meet by accident. I do mean by accident. Olivia is driving back to Jill's to go over some of the projects. Olivia runs her car off the road to avoid hitting a school bus. Rafe is the one to go to her aid. Olivia thinks that she is dreaming. She has no idea that he was back in town. It is strange for both of them. They come to terms with the fact hat they are going to run into each other and call a truce to be friends only.

Of course with them being constantly pushed together by her three best friends, the sparks start to fly. They try to resist, but they just can't fight the feelings that they had years ago for each other.

Christina Skye has written several books about these four friends. In all the books, all four girl's lives continue. I have a best friend that I have had for over 50 years. We are about as close as these four women are. Every one has a dream, and these four girls are making theirs come true. Butterfly Cove sounds like a great place to live.

SUMMARY

Girl's gone bad…for the town's new golden boy

Maybe opposites don't always attract. If they did, architect Olivia Sullivan would have run away with bad boy Rafe Russo when they were teenagers. Instead, Olivia has spent ten years dreaming up designs for a life that hasn't gone the way she planned. Still reeling from her career's implosion and her father's death, Olivia thanks her lucky stars for the support of her three lifelong friends. But this good girl is through sitting on the sidelines. When Rafe returns to the beautiful Oregon coast where they grew up, her former flame ignites a new desire. Now Olivia must take a walk on the wild side to show the new deputy that in matters of love…being bad can feel very good.

Freshly back from Afghanistan, rugged ex-Marine and new deputy Rafe is done breaking laws and hearts. He's always regretted leaving Olivia behind, but now she's after adventure and he'd better proceed with caution. Because wanting her again might be easy, but fighting for a future together will be his biggest risk yet.
