In SOUTH OF SURRENDER Chrysander Notos God of the South wind and summer must save one of his family members. Laney Summerlyn is trying to save her grandfathers horse farm. Both Chrysander and Laney don't realize it but they both need each other's help.
I enjoyed SOUTH OF SURRENDER it was filled with intrigue, passion, romance. Laura Kaye did a very good job on this book, she happens to be one of my favorite authors and each book has me more and more interested in her writing, she creates a wonderfully engaging story that kept my attention from beginning to end.
What I really enjoyed about SOUTH OF SURRENDER was that it's definitely different from what I read, I don't think I've ever read anything about gods except for maybe school and I was shocked at how intrigued I was at this story. It's full of very powerful characters that are stubborn and won't accept help when they both know they need each other.
The two main characters are very likable and very interesting. I love when I get the chance because it opens my eyes to a lot of other genres that I can to read about something that I wouldn't normally read about read but in the end I end up learning something new. SOUTH OF SURRENDER is a very enjoyable story and I would recommend it to any one interested in mythology and learning more about it.
