Stig will be himself again in the morning, and able to move around, but every night for the next eight nights he's got to lock himself away again or....

This novella is surprisingly convincing from the start. Cora has crossed some drug dealers who thought she'd be an easy target, since her family bakery business had been put into the red by her brother's gambling. After telling the police everything she had to run. Stig is a woodworker who takes pride in his craft and can't afford to be found by the Knights. He does appreciate Cora's cooking!

Of course we get a history of dragon shifters, and Stig will have to leave the protective brotherhood if he takes a mate. Which is all he has on his mind right now.... The erotic aspect is well written and very hot, everyone enjoying themselves, and the tale turns just as deftly to a thriller atmosphere. DEAD SEXY DRAGON is a good introduction to the Dragon Heat series and a lively erotic adult fantasy novella.
