Romance Erotica Sensual | Romance

Tattoo artist Raven Smith is intrigued by the smooth- talking Jonah Walker. When Jonah asks for a tattoo that will span his whole back, Raven knows that this piece will take more than a few sessions to complete. What she doesn't know is that within this time, she will leave her dark past behind and find both passion and pleasure in Jonah's hands.

Lauren Dane doesn't hold back with the sixth installment to the Brown Family series. It's red hot, blistering action will have you panting for more. The sex between Raven and Jonah is far more than just scorching hot. It is also a rough portrayal of the character's personalities. Jonah has a slight dominant side to him that comes out during sex. Similarly, what makes the sex so explosive is Dane's signature ingredient, a strong, unapologetic heroine in Raven.

One of the things I've noticed is that Dane implements a "tell, not show" style of writing in this book. I would have liked some more showing, as it further engages the reader and also makes for a better story overall. While I do believe that readers can enjoy the book for its romance and its story as a standalone, a lot of the happiness will stem from the fact that there are a lot of familiar faces from previous books in the series as well as characters from Dane's other series.

The touch of angst also transforms this story into one of healing the heart as well. The heroine addresses her dark past and through her relationship with Jonah, she manages to overcome those personal barriers to find a sense of peace within herself. In DRAWN TOGETHER, Raven and Jonah's story will find itself inked onto your hearts like a tattoo.

SUMMARY

Beauty is more than skin–deep...

Tattoo artist Raven Smith is blunt and hard, broken and jaded, dark and beautiful. While she doesn't hide her painful past, she does keep a wall around her heart. She's free sexually—but no one gets to the real Raven beneath the prickly exterior.

With a voice like smoke, Jonah Warner is a smooth–talking, highly successful attorney, with a body that should never be hidden by a suit. He's the kind of man who never takes no for an answer and always gets what he wants. And what he wants is Raven. She's a survivor, and he finds that incredibly alluring.

Jonah gets under her skin in a way Raven has never experienced. He makes her break all her rules—including her no–monogamy rule.

But when a figure from Raven's past shows up at the tattoo parlor and drops a bomb into her life, their relationship will face the ultimate challenge...
