This novella is all about sex, between people who barely know each other and have nothing in common except a wish to hurt or be hurt while getting naked. Those easily offended should leave TWICE THE BANG alone, those interested in experimenting might give it a try to see if the idea really appeals.

Billy is just one of the men who wants Pansy, and she doesn't wish to be exclusive to anyone, so although he hasn't done the dominance thing she's into, they give it a try, on the carpet to start. Billy works as a firefighter and next day when he's gone, Beau who feels possessive about Pansy comes around and takes his turn with her. He wouldn't actually harm her, and she knows that, but she likes being slapped and ordered. They make a date for the BDSM club that night, where anything goes... but Billy will be there, and as far as Beau's concerned, he's welcome to watch, as long as he keeps his hands off.

Spanking benches, whips, chains, flogging paddles and clamps are all provided in the euphemistically titled playroom, and orgies are the order of the day. A friend tells me she went to a workshop on how to write bondage scenes, and sound is a big component, with slaps, whimpers, swishing whips and jangling chains all contributing. There is a rather silly game of naked paintball in this story, and we're told that guys don't like licking deodorant, so it's not all serious.
