Julie Greene lives the sophisticated New York life style
working for the magazine, Stiletto, THE magazine to work at,
as a full-time columnist writing articles on The First Date
as her forte. Her friends Grace and Riley write the
following articles of Love and Sex, respectively.
Horrified, her boss Camille has just issued an order that
she is to write next month's article on How To Take
Relationships To The Next Level. Julie has never been there
and done that. Her dates are short ones consisting of just
the first level; not to mean that they haven't included sex.
Her helpful friends have found a solution for her. Julie
will pick a subject to date and carry it to the next level,
then drop him before the proposal in order to gather her
material first hand for the article.
Wall Street executive, Mitchell Forbes, a straight laced
guy needing commitment and forever love, has just ended a
relationship as there was no chemistry for him. His co-
worker and friend, Colin, challenges him with Yankee season
tickets that he can't use a woman for sex and companionship
and then set her free before talking about babies and
marriage. At the same time Colin chooses Julie as the
victim, Julie's friends have chosen Mitchell, an opposite
type than Julie has ever dated, for her subject. The
further into the dating, the more their quirky secrets turn
on them. Sex is the most erotic that Julie or Mitchell has
ever experienced with anyone else. They find they
genuinely like each other and actually feel comfortable and
happy. Revealing both their deceptions is about to screw up
the best thing either has ever had.....real love and total
chemistry.
I loved AFTER THE KISS! It was funny and exciting all
the
way through. The quirkiness and cleverness throughout was
completely unexpected at the least expected moments. She
took a classy, sophisticated woman of the world and a stodgy
unstylish, and supposedly boring man, and turned them into
a fantastic heart-warming love affair. This is a book in
The Sex, Love, and Stiletto Series and I can't wait
to read others.
AFTER THE KISS
definitely captures your attention and keeps you smiling and
chuckling from the first to the last page. A definite yes
to this refreshing book!
Julie Greene loves flings. Loves steamy first dates,
sizzling first kisses, and every now and then, that first
sexy romp between the sheets. Comfy pants, sleepy Sundays,
movie nights on the couch? Shudder. But when Julie gets
assigned the hardest story of her career—a first-person
account of that magical shift between dating and “I
do”—she’ll need a man brave enough to give a total
commitment-phobe a chance at more.
Normally, Mitchell Forbes would be exactly that man. A
devastatingly hot workaholic who tends to stay in
relationships for far too long, he should be the perfect
subject for Julie’s “research.” But what Julie doesn’t know
is that Mitchell is looking to cut loose for once in his
life. And the leggy journalist notorious for avoiding love
is exactly the type of no-strings fling he’s looking for. In
other words, Mitchell is the polar opposite of what Julie
needs right now. And, at the same time, he’s exactly what
she wants.
