Romance Paranormal
Major Antonia (Toni) Fielding is military to the bone
working at the secret Project where the military is
experimenting on using paranormal blood to the betterment
of the men and women in uniform. She wasn't thrilled with
it but she obeyed orders until she was infected in an
accident and became a Blood (vampire). After the escape of
some of the projects transformed subjects, Lycans, she
thinks she is going to be cured not find her BLOOD MATE.
Darce Foster is Special Forces until the Project changed
him now he wants his freedom and he's not alone.
Unfortunately following an escape Toni catches him ... he
couldn't help it ... his mind was jumbled with the fact that
the beautiful Blood just happened to be his mate. Now all
he has to do is convince her and escape again. Not an easy
plan especially when they find that there is an even darker
more evil agenda being run and the results of these
experiments are forced to fight for their lives on live
television.
BLOOD MATE holds you in a tight grip from the first page
and takes you along on a thrill ride. Darce and Toni are
amazing characters, the typical cocky wolf and ice cold
vampire, but somehow as you read they come together
perfectly. The support characters are also intriguing; full
of hunks, some strange lab results that turn out to have
good hearts, disgusting zombies and really bad guys you
want to see get theirs.
For the action parts in BLOOD MATE think a paranormal MMA
(Mixed Martial Arts) with the hero, and later the heroine,
coming out as winners... but barely. Author Mina Carter has
a
very vivid imagination that develops into a well written,
fast actioned paranormal that a reader will read again and
again and want more.
SUMMARY
The only thing they have in common? Really…sharp…teeth. The Project Rebellion, Book 2 Major Antonia Fielding has one goal: to escape the clutches
of the Project. With the blood-virus infecting her system,
though, a body bag is likely her only way out. Until her
boss lets slip that he may just have a cure for her—if she
brings in an escaped Lycan. Can she trust him? Now there’s the million-dollar question.
Then again, can she afford not to take that chance? Darce Foster was a Special Forces soldier, until the Project
got hold of him. Now he’s a Lycan, a lab-created werewolf,
this close to escaping his creators—until another of the
Project’s experiments stops him in his tracks. Not because
she has the power to hold him, but because he instantly
recognizes the impossible. The vampiress is his mate. Allowing her to bring him in is his only choice—and possibly
the last mistake of his life. Enemies or lovers, it doesn’t matter. When they discover
that the Project is hiding yet more secrets, they must work
together to bring it down...or die in the attempt. Warning: Contains a cocky wolf who won’t take no for an
answer, an ice-queen losing her cool and a pack full of
hunky werewolves bent on rescue. And zombie spidermen.
