Dead Lawyers Tell No Tales

Thriller

Randy Singer's books are right up there with James Patterson and other great thriller authors. Randy combines murder, love and mystery. Randy has several different story lines in DEAD LAWYERS TELL NO TALES. However, it is not confusing at all. All of the story lines and the characters interact with each other which makes DEAD LAWYERS TELL NO TALES such a great book.

We meet Sean, who is a spy. He has been trying for several years to get over the loss of the love of his life Fatinah, who was captured and tortured because of him. We also meet Landon Reed, a college quarterback who was in prison. Both of these men have a lot to overcome in their lives. There are also a lot of other story lines in this book. Several characters get murdered, but why?

Randy Singer's story has a lot of twist and turns, but this is what makes DEAD LAWYERS TELL NO TALES such a great book to read. Randy Singer writes about the inspiration that several of the characters have. They believe in their faith, and know that by believing they will be lead in the right direction.

I can see this becoming a series of books. One of the main characters Landon, who after several struggles in his life is now a lawyer. I can see Randy Singer continuing this story line into several new books. Personally I can't wait.

You can definitely tell that Randy Singer is a lawyer. The way he writes, tells it all. Even though some of the words are ones that maybe only another lawyer would understand, I was not confused, nor did I have to look any of the words up.

DEAD LAWYERS TELL NO TALES has a great story line which has made Randy Singer an addition my author to watch list. list.

SUMMARY

Landon Reed is an ex-quarterback convicted of organizing a points-shaving scheme. During his time in prison, he found forgiveness and faith and earned his law degree. Now he longs for an opportunity to prove his loyalty and worth. Be careful what you ask for. Harry McNaughton is one of the founding partners of McNaughton & Clay—and the only lawyer willing to take a chance employing an ex-con-turned-lawyer. Though Landon initially questions Harry’s ethics and methods, it’s clear the crusty old lawyer has one of the most brilliant legal minds Landon has ever encountered. The two dive into preparing a defense for one of the highest-profile murder trials Virginia Beach has seen in decades when Harry is gunned down in what appears to be a random mugging. Then two more lawyers are killed when the firm’s private jet crashes. Authorities suspect someone has a vendetta against McNaughton & Clay, leaving Landon and the remaining partner as the final targets.

As Landon struggles to keep the firm together, he can’t help but wonder, is the plot related to a shady case from McNaughton & Clay’s past, or to the murder trial he’s neck- deep in now? And will he survive long enough to find out? Tyndale House Publishers
