After Dr. Susan Barlow gets pulled into a blue light she
finds herself in a rainforest being stalked by a werewolf
who thinks she has the SCENT OF SALVATION. And the
adventure begins.
Technocon, a small technologies company had lied to her by
making promises they never planned to keep. All of her
research on DOUG (Dimensional Opening Universal Gateway) is
being turned over to the military and there is nothing she
can do to stop them. Well not exactly nothing. She fixes
DOUG so it could not be used by anyone but gets caught up
in the backfire and now she's in this frightening
predicament.
Sorin, alpha of the Apisi Pack, was following a blue light
only to find a very strange female at the temple. He can't
figure out why she isn't shifting to his challenge. She
says she is a human, but he has never heard of such a
creature. His world is shifters and vampires but this
human is very, very intriguing.
The violent strange customs of the shifters, the hated and
feared vampires, a slowly dying pack and one very sexy
shifter are just a few things she has to adjust to in her
new world. Especially after one of the vampires takes an
interest in her for his own plans.
In this first Chronicles of Eorthe book author Annie
Nicholas brings to life a new and exciting paranormal
world. SCENT OF SALVATION is an action packed story that
explodes from the first word to the last. The characters,
both main and secondary, have varied personalities that
blend to make the storyline move smoothly along while Susan
adjusts to her strange and exciting environment. I enjoyed
every moment of this book and can not wait to read more.
There are a number of characters from this book that that I
hope to see in a story of their own.
Stranded in another dimension, on a primitive version of
Earth, Dr. Susan Barlow needs to find a way to survive.
There’s no electricity, no cities, and to her shock, no
humans. Instead, she faces a population of werewolves,
vampires and incubi. The people are vicious but she must
find her place among them. And live.
An illness is killing Sorin’s pack. As alpha it’s his
responsibility to save them, but it’s a battle this warrior
doesn’t know how to fight. Then a blue light in the sky
brings a creature he’s never seen. She calls herself human,
but to him she smells like hope.
Sorin offers Susan a safe haven in return for a cure, but
she’s not that kind of a doctor. She’s a doctor of physics,
not a physician. Yet as they search for a cure to save a
dying people, they find something special—each other.
But even with Sorin’s protection, Susan can’t help but
wonder how long she can survive in a world without humans…
Warning: Feral shifters, power-hungry vampires, and a sole
human female suffering culture shock.
