"How can an outspoken governess and an opinionated lord work together, much less fall in love?"

Born To Scandal

Romance Historical

Anna Hill needs a position. Lord Brentmore needs a governess for his two motherless children. Even though Anna is too young, too outspoken, and entirely too beautiful, Brent hires her, but the job will not be easy. The staff dislikes her, Lord Cal won't speak to anyone but his sister, and then there's her attraction to the master to contend with.

In BORN TO SCANDAL, author Diane Gaston's strong characters and a multi-layered plot quickly pull you into the story and keep you guessing throughout. Anna and Brent don't always get along, but they argue or talk through the issues realistically and move on. Lord Cal and Lady Dory, the children, seem to develop quite naturally over the course of the story. The intricate relationships with other members of the ton, including Brent's well-intentioned fiancée, are also well drawn.

I enjoyed every moment of this book, and I highly recommend BORN TO SCANDAL for readers who enjoy Regency romances written with depth, intelligence, and humor.

SUMMARY

Lord Brentmore—half Irish peasant, half English aristocrat—grew up under a cloud of scandal. Even money and a title aren't enough to stay the wagging tongues of the Ton. But he's vowed that his children will never experience the same stigma.

After the death of their infamous mother they need a reputable governess. Anna Hill is too passionate, too alluring, but she fills Brentmore Hall with light and laughter again—and its master with feelings he'd forgotten….

But a lord marrying a governess would be the biggest scandal of all!
