Walker Parrish provides rodeo stock from his ranch, Timber Creek, in Parable, Montana. He has also been in love with Casey Elder, a super country music star for forever and is also the father of her two children. Keeping this under wraps and telling the media and everyone they know the children were test tube births, even 14 year old Clare and 13 year old Shane believe the same. Both teens feel the lack of a father and are closely drawn to Walker as a good friend of Casey's.

This is the second book in the Parable Montana series I have had the pleasure of reading. Linda Lael Miller is truly a gifted story teller who is certain to keep the reader glued to the page. The twists and turns in BIG SKY SUMMER are emotional and heart-warming. I am anxiously awaiting the next book in this series. Miller never fails to keep me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next twist.
