Adam Dalton arrives back in the Dallas area to hear the
reading of his long absent father's will only to get more
than one surprise. The first being his father isn't dead,
he just wanted to see all of his "lost" children. In the
middle of that he gets a call from his mother saying that
Hadley O'Sullivan, his former fiancée's twin daughters have
been kidnapped. He soon finds he is protecting her from
TRUMPED UP CHARGES.
The last person Hadley O'Sullivan expected to see at her
door was Adam. They were engaged for a short time when he
went to Afghanistan but then she got a letter saying he
found someone else. But for whatever reason he is there,
there's just so much to deal with ...her daughters Lila and
Lacy are missing, her mother is in the hospital having a
tumor
removed and Det. Shelton Lane seems hard pressed to prove
she was the reason her twin daughters are gone... any
support
from whatever source is a good thing right now. But then
again there are a lot of secrets on both sides that just
might have to come out before they can work together to
find her babies.
TRUMPED UP CHARGES takes off at high speed and doesn't slow
down until the last word. There are a lot of dark twists
and intriguing secrets that come flooding out as the reader
tries to figure out who the bad guy might be and how they
will be caught. There are side storylines that fill out
the secondary characters and add a lot of drama to the
well written main story. Joanna Wayne writes a wonderfully
intriguing romance with a lot of emotional ups and downs
that makes you feel for Adam and Hadley, especially when
all the truths come out. This is the authors Big "D"
