Jasmine Stanford, a Cape Cod Yoga instructor, started
penniless, homeless and parentless, rebuilding her life into
success and a feeling of security. A father in investments
who committed suicide and a mother incapable of support,
left Jasmine to fend for herself. Finally rebuilding a good
life, she leaves little for personal relationships. That
is, until she meets Leo Fischer, a former investment banker
who has lost his memory after being shot.
Leo is spending time in Cape Cod to recover from his
amnesia, with the idea of returning to the investment world.
Things get off on the wrong foot when Jasmine is approached
by Leo, thinking he is only attempting to "get in her
pants". His unlikely story is discounted. Eventually,
Jasmine learns the truth and sizzling hot sex is the
beginning of their relationship. If nothing else, their
physical attraction is always undeniable. Jasmine is
reluctant to become involved emotionally as she is aware he
will return to his world and she will be left behind again
to rebuild her life alone. By this time Leo is regaining
his memory and no longer wishes to return to his
unfulfilling life, as it was. His genuine feelings for
Jasmine are being re-evaluated daily, each time they are
together. A surprise visit from Jasmine's estranged mother
sets her world back on its axis. Now Jasmine sees things
differently and has decisions to make.
BENDING OVER BACKWARD is a scorching hot tale, complete with
very explicit
sex. This is one of the most graphic sex stories I have
ever read. The story itself is emotional and reveals the
underlying fears of a woman and man who have both become
survivors of tragedy. This is the first I have read by
Samantha Hunter but found it interesting and an easy ready.
The content had, perhaps, a bit more graphic sex than what I
am accustomed to, but carried out with taste.
They both lost everything, and then they found each other.
Jasmine Stanford has to be the most stressed-out yoga
instructor on Cape Cod. Years after a childhood trauma left
her penniless, homeless and parentless, working hard to
maintain her hard-won success and security is all she knows.
Controlling her carefully rebuilt life is Jasmine’s first
priority, and there’s no room or time in it for sexy former
stockbroker Leo Fischer. But the more Leo comes around, the
more Jasmine feels her resolve crumbling.
Leo is—or was—a hotshot investment banker until a workplace
tragedy wiped out his memory and his career. On Cape Cod to
recover, he’s at loose ends, his future uncertain…until
Jasmine becomes his north star. But their relationship is
only physical, and Jasmine keeps her distance, even when
she’s as close to him as any woman can be.
Jasmine is anything but indifferent to the desire exploding
between them. A summer fling was fine when she thought Leo
would return to New York. But she’s falling hard—and the
last thing she wants to catch her is the past…
Warning: This book contains a wounded hero hotter than a
summer sun and sex in very flexible positions.
