BOUND by ELISABETH NAUGHTON is a fiery, explosive and
classic tale between a man and women who should not be
right for each other. She is fire and he water, but in the
end are each other's, other half. This wonderful story is
about how they can overcome the obstacles in their way,
help each and eventually are bound to each other for ever.
BOUND opens with Queen Isadora about to address the Council
members, Argonauts, the elite and thousands of Argoleans
that have gathered in the streets of Tiyrns to hear her
speak about who their savior is that caused the recent
demise of Atalanta. Titus understands that he does not need
to be distracted from his duties for the evening as one of
the Queens Argonauts, especially with the full Council of
Elders in attendance and always looking for an excuse to
disband the Queens personal guard. When Phineus comes to
get Titus for the celebration, they are heading down the
grand staircase when Titus has a tingle that moves up his
spine and makes him stop in his tracks. He spots Natasa,
the lone female that he has been searching for since
meeting her in the Misos colony and his obsession. Natasa
is the only persons mind he has not been able to read and
that her touch does not bring him to his knees and cause
him crippling pain. Even though she is wearing a black wig
and is wearing a servers uniform, he would know those
emerald eyes anywhere. Let the chase begin.
From this point in BOUND it is one fast paced, erotic, sexy
and fiery ride that you will not be able to stop reading
till the end. Some of the twist and turns might be
expected, but most will be a surprise. The stories of the
Greek Gods in BOUND are very interesting and sometimes
disturbing about how little they cared for others feelings.
Who they slept with and what couple produced what offspring
is an intricate part of BOUND. I am not up on my Greek
mythology and reading about these Gods I got a little
confused, but not enough for me to stop reading or enjoying
the book. I do not want to give to much of the story away
because it is worth reading and I feel that if I say to
much I might spoil it. But I will give another little
tease, wait till you read what transpires between Nick &
Isadora that Demetrius witnesses and where Nick finds
himself at the end of BOUND. If you are a fan of the Ms.
Naughton's Eternal Guardians series, you will enjoy Titus's
book, I did. BOUND is a must read.
TITUS—To most his gift seems like a blessing, but for him
it’s a curse the other Eternal Guardians—those who protect
the mortal realm from threats of the Underworld—seek to
exploit. One he would gladly trade for the chance to be free…
Obsessed. Her touch is like a drug. From the moment he met
her, Titus knew she was different. Even dangerous. Yet
though his guardian brethren are convinced Natasa is working
for Hades, Titus can’t stop thinking about her. Can’t stop
fantasizing about her. Can’t stop craving the one thing he
knows could lead to the downfall of his world.
Possessed. Faced with stopping Natasa or joining in her
quest, Titus falls to temptation and is thrust into a world
of lust, deception, and deadly treachery designed by the
gods. Her touch—only hers—frees him from his bonds, but
desire may just condemn him. Because before the end he’ll
have to decide which is more important: duty and honor to
those he took an oath to defend, or a woman who could very
well be the biggest curse to them all.
