The Worth story is continuing and each installment is
totally engaging. Looking for some steamy sex, controversy,
sassy dialog and just plain fun, well look no further than
Karen Erickson's latest installment in her Worth family
series. Each revolves around an overachieving macho brother
sure to steal your heart. Anastasia was undergoing a life altering experience that
seemed to have a life of its own. How do you stop a
whirlpool spinning out of control. That was her life and
all her hopes and dreams were quickly being sucked down the
vortex of that pool. Her life was spiraling out of control
with the death of her beloved father, who had doted on his
only daughter. Stacia was groomed to become as much a force to reckon with
in the fashion industry as her three older brothers. They
were all an important cog of the Renaldi empire, it was
their legacy. Who could have predicted that Stacia's legacy
was going to be pulled out right from under her. The reading of her father's will should have been a
formality, but the Renaldi's were in for the surprise of
their lives. The senior Renaldi recently discovered that his beloved
daughter wasn't a Renaldi at all. In fact she was the
product of a secret affair of his wife and his staunchest
business competitor Michael Worth. Her parents had
separated for a short time but in that period Claudia had
met Michael and although it was fleeting she had come away
from it with child. Claudia never told her husband, instead
led him to believe all these years that this was his
daughter.
Well once the other shoe dropped it was a catastrophe to
the entire family. The senior Renaldi basically threatened
if they continued to have any relationship with Stacia, she
was to be eliminated from their family business. The
brothers were going to have to dig deep to find any legal
loopholes and in the meantime Stacia was basically left to
flounder. Sure she missed her role in the business but once word went
out about this mess she faced humiliation. She didn't want
any of that to tarnish her family and that left her very
alone. Being part of a big family was what Stacia knew. She
needed that and so now that she knew the identity of her
biological father she was determined to meet his family.
They were as innocent as she and probably weren't
interested in getting to know the sister born out of this
illicit affair. But Stacia knew she had to try. Meeting her new brothers was going to be a challenge. She
had to convince them that she didn't need or want anything
from them - she just needed to belong again. She needed to
meet them and hopefully get to know her other family. She
certainly didn't expect to be met with open arms but
neither did she expect the hostility. So she hired attorney
Gavin Westmore to arrange meeting with the Worth family to
learn the truth. Gavin wasn't sympathetic to her plight. He
didn't like or trust this woman who probably had an agenda.
However this spunky woman didn't fit the image he had. She
was so lonely and the more time he spent with her the more
he grew to trust and honestly care. Not his usual client
relationship but there wasn't anything usual about this
case. Neither of them was looking for a relationship. Stacia was
beyond his league and yet the most down to earth woman he
had met in a long time. Their backgrounds couldn't have
been more diverse but somehow they were effectively
bridging that gap. Stacia was going to expose herself for hurt in her search
for the love of a newly found family and surprising man.
Gavin was going to remove the carefully guarded fence he
had built around his life and heart. They were both going
to have to realize that as a couple they were unstoppable. Hot and sexy men and women abound in this latest Karen
Ericsson story revolving around the Worth family. I love
how these mighty businessmen are brought down to earth with
the love of a good woman. WORTH EVERYThING is an engaging
story about self discovery. We all tend to judge ourselves
by those around us. But what happens when we have to
rediscover ourselves, when what we believed as truth is
cast in shadows and doubts. This is when we really find our
own inner strengths. What is worth everything? Well in this
story its love. Love of family as our anchor.
SUMMARY
Anastasia Renaldi's life is a complete lie. Disinherited
from the family fashion–accessory business and
informed she's the illegitimate daughter of the
famous—and long–dead—Michael Worth of
Worth Luxury, she has no one to turn to. No real family, no
job, no identity to claim. Lost and confused, she turns to
the one man who can help her obtain what is rightfully hers.
Attorney Gavin Westmore is hired to discover the truth.
Does Stasia Renaldi have a stake to claim in the Worth
empire? From the moment he meets her, Gavin knows what sort
of woman Stasia is. Calculating, devious—she won't
let anything or anyone get in the way of her pursuit of a
fortune. As long as he can collect his generous fee, he's
fine with it.
But Gavin soon discovers his perception of Stasia is

lots of time together—and it goes beyond the
attorney/client type meetings. The only question is, after
untangling the web of lies to get to the truth, whether
