Silla is a journeyman healer for the High Temple of Our Lady of Light; she travels her area healing those in need. As she travels she hears a dragon's roar of agony. Though she has never healed a dragon before, she could not stand to see the handsome beast in agony, so she offers to ease his pain and help him heal, becoming a DRAGON HEALER.
Brodie the dragon's knight is immediately attracted to the petite healer and works with her to help heal his dragon partner, Phelan. When the dragon is resting peacefully, they turn to the inn to find there is no room for the weary healer. Brodie offers her the extra bed that is in the room set aside for visiting knights. She accepts though reluctantly. Her brief abusive marriage left her with no attraction for the opposite sex. Until this one, but should she allow herself the pleasure of being with him.
Brodie knows as Dragon Knights are want to do, that she is the one for him. And if she is to be his mate then Phelan's mate's knight, Geoff, would also be her mate. The two dragons had abstained from sexual encounters until their knights could find a mate. After finding out that his dragon had spoken to Silla and she heard him, he is surer than ever. Now if he could only get her to believe that having two mates isn't a bad thing.
DRAGON HEALER is a fantastic read but way too short. If you are into the Dragon Knights then this book will give you a little reminder of why you love them. There were so many things I wanted to know about Silla, Brodie, Geoff and even their dragons that I found it a little bit of a let down, but it did give me good hit of the Knights that will keep me going until the next full edition. I love Bianca D'Arc's books and have devoured everything she has written and will continue to read and recommend all of her sizzling, well written stories.
