When Petty Officer Rebecca Sauter, a Naval Military Policewoman, goes for her usual evening run, she has no way of knowing how her world is about to change. Nor could she guess how her SECOND SIGHT would force her into a new way of life.
Navy Captain Michael Rossi is charged with bringing the interesting Becca to Admiral Black, who leads a unit of paranormal personnel. Though Admiral Black is scary as hell, Michael is very intriguing. Becca is military to the bone, very comfortable with the protocol and strictness and not comfortable with emotional relationships but something about this Captain has her heart beating faster.
However this new world she finds herself in has her in a quandary... vampires, werewolves and demons do not exist. Do they? Though if you think about it she has had frightening and irritating visions most of her life, and always felt either crazy or a misfit. Vampires, werewolves and demons? She just might fit in after all.
SECOND SIGHT is a captivating special ops paranormal. I did find the beginning a little slow paced but after a couple of chapters or so it picked up speed and wham ... I was hooked. I loved the members of The Admiral's Elite, though Admiral Black was someone I would not care to meet in a dark alley. The dialogue and interplay among the team is interesting and realistic and at times burning hot. I do hope the author [H.K. Savage] continues with the Admiral's Elite series because I think she has the beginning of a winning series.
Rebecca Sauter is a soldier with a secret; she\'s
clairvoyant. Captain Michael Rossi, Admiral Black\'s right
hand man, leads the team responsible for the policing and
protecting the world\'s supernatural creatures. For decades
he has kept himself away from humans; they\'re fragile.
Admiral Black wants Becca on the team. Michael can protect
her from the enemy, but who will save her from him?
