Authors Mari Carr and Jayne Rylon have reunited to give raving fans more of what they love, the Compton family. Where the first series focused on the four Compton brothers this series focuses on the four Compton girl cousins. As a fan of the Compass Brothers series I have to applaud the authors for giving readers a series with a familiar touch. I found similarities in the two series that makes the reader feel at home with the Compton family while meeting new characters to fall in love with. In Compass Brothers each brother had a relationship with their father and went to him to "work through" what was going on in their life. Compass Girls looks to take this step with a matriarchal focus of their grandmother.
In the novels penned by authors Mari Carr and Jayne Rylon you know you will get a happy ending but the journey sometime is devastatingly heartbreaking and definitely scorching hot! Sienna and Daniel's story is no different. The two have totally different views on life and yet they have so much in common with how they feel about family. How will Sienna face the fact her well made plans may not be what she truly desires after all? How will Daniel deal with a woman who needs plans to feel safe when his only plans are to "be happy"?
