Sharon Li abruptly finds out she is a shaman, and what's a
shaman to do but start a self help group for misfit
creatures of magic. And if that wasn't enough to get your
attention, London's spirits are being taken. Now the
Midnight Mayor, yes fans, you heard me right, is commanding
her to save London. She won't do it alone, however. Sharon
is accompanied by the misfits from her quirky group, Magical
Anonymous.
Griffin writes flawed, sometimes hilariously so, and human
(but not really human) characters that are relatable but can
also be tough as nails. Her gorgeous, unique and intricate
atmosphere is another strong point in her stories. In STRAY SOULS her
use of changing points of view is fantastic as she
gives the characters their own turns to show off their
stuff. Sharon has a temper hiding just beneath the surface
that is let out when provoked. Shea is a character that grew
on me as her fire ignited. The world Griffin has built is
elaborate and believable, even with the urban fantasy
elements of vampires, trolls and banshees, to name a few.
Her characters are the heart of this book with their
riveting and believable human characteristics; they truly
are delightful. Those who are familiar with her Matthew
Swift stories will be excited to see that he was
incorporated into this book, as well.
LONDON'S SOUL IS MISSING.

from inevitable demise, but the problem is she has no clue
where to start. Meanwhile, a mysterious gate has opened, and
there are creatures loose that won't wait for her to catch
up before they go out hunting. Now Sharon and her motley
crew of magical misfits must find a way to save the world...
