Sisters, Suzy and Beth Denton, have not had a warm, fuzzy time growing up with their uptight, straight laced parents. Suzy is elegant and works as event planner for Danver 's International with Suzy as her assistant. Being insecure for years with the criticism of her parents concerning her over weight condition, Beth is now paranoid at slipping back to being fat.
Meeting Nick Merimon, Suzy's brother-in-law, captures Beth's attention and gives her the encouragement to go after what she desires.....sex! Even though Beth carries a stigma over her weight and can never see herself as the slim, sexy woman she is, she achieves boldness and literally attacks the gorgeous Nick on her sister's kitchen counters with the best sex ever. Their secret liaison is soon discovered when Beth finds she is pregnant. She can't count on someone so desirable and handsome to commit to a permanent relationship when he can have his choice of women. Thus begins their trek toward parenthood with neither considering love as being a part of it. When realization finally hits Nick that he can't live without the sassy woman, convincing her they can be a forever family is almost impossible.
From sex on the counters to hot, passionate love at every turn, these two are completely compatible and will eventually come full circle. The stigma Beth has carried since childhood has molded her into an insecure woman, but not without a huge sexual drive.
FALL FOR ME is a truly delightful tale full of emotions and misunderstandings. Sydney Landon certainly knows how to create a fire hot affair and turn it into a loving and beautiful thing. I could not put this book down until I turned the very last page. Thank goodness I have two more of her books waiting in the wings!
