I have read many novels by Sara Bennett and love her books.
SIN WITH A SCOUNDREL is a page turner and most enjoyable.
Secrets and
lies, lust and love, and the characters are great! I was
swept away by this read! Big Kudo's to Sara, keep them
coming!
Clementina Smythe, recently graduated from Miss Debenham's
Finishing School, and has her heart set on marrying her
life long friend, Lord Horace Gilfoy. Her family is deep in
debt and she feels it's her duty to marry a man with money
to help save her family. Tina hopes to have Horace propose
to her, to keep her family out of debtor's prison. Her only
problem is, that she does not know how to turn his
attention towards her. She is a proper young lady, but she
turns to the the rakish Richard Eversham who is an expert on
seduction for help, and soon Richard is teaching her the
ways to
seduce Horace as her future husband. Does she want Horace
truly to be her husband? Or is she confused, now that she's
being tutored by Richard, who she finds most handsome and
very sexy.
Richard Eversham has many secrets, but he is willing to
help Tina in her quest, to seduce Horace into becoming her
husband. Richard not only finds her the most beautiful
woman he's set his eyes on, but she will be his means to
and end, to trap the man who killed his brother. There are
many surprises in this book for both Richard and
Tina, but when Tina's life is put in harms way, Richard
will do anything to save her love for him and her life.
I love Historical Romance novels and SIN WITH A SCOUNDREL
is on the top
of my list for 2013. A must read and will keep you up at
night with it's many twists and turns!
Clementina Smythe is in love with Lord Horace Gilfoyle.or
rather, she is certain she could learn to love him. Tina
simply cannot admit to her fellow Husband Hunters Club
members that the only reason she has set her cap on the
old family friend is because her family is in desperate
straits. Now only to convince Horace that she is a woman
to be loved.
When the devilish chit approaches Richard Eversham about
schooling her in the art of seduction, he is more than a
little intrigued. But when he learns her intended target,
he can't refuse. For behind Richard's rakish mask is a
government agent after a villain who calls himself "the
captain," and Richard has reason to believe that man is
Gilfoyle.
As the tutoring sessions give way to so much more, Tina
knows she can no longer settle for anyone other than
Richard. But "the captain" is moving against them and soon
Richard will have to reveal his true identity, if he is to
save the woman he loves.
