He is to kill a Principatus in four days or the overlord will begin purging the disloyal vampires. He has no way of knowing the moment he sees Inari Chayse the last thing on his mind is her death. Ezryn doesn't know what she was and when he does; he thinks everything he feels for her is because of her being a sex demon.

Inari has a problem with being who she is and is helped through life by the ghost of her sister, who had been killed by a demon that Inari herself had spurned and still was trying to kill. For twenty years after her rebirth as the Principatus, having been granted her soul by the Highest of Powers, she has been afraid to have sex, afraid that if she did so she would return to being the soulless succubus.

After his greatest friend goes missing and he believes he was taken by his twin, Ezryn goes to his rescue and finds him and Inari in the hands of his brother. When she turns on her succubus side, he realizes that what he feels has nothing to do with the sex demon and everything to do with Inari herself.

DARK EMBRACE is darkly compelling with danger and intrigue coupled with touches of humor and a lot of hot sex between two sometimes confused main characters. I think my Kindle caught fire a number of times when Inari and Ezryn got together. Lexxie Couper writes erotic paranormals that stand out with good storylines that keeps the reader unable to put it down until the last page. I can't wait to see Ms. Couper comes up with next.
