In MIDNIGHT'S SEDUCTION Saffron Fletcher, a Druid and Seer, has been rescued from three years of captivity by Declan Wallace. He had been a Druid of Black Magic, known as droughs, who had wanted to use her abilities for his own evil purpose, but could not break Saffron. She regains her sight and works to come back to herself but finds she has a couple of modern day problems. One is her mother, who is trying to have her declared legally dead so she can inherit all her money. The second is the devilishly handsome rescuer who in turns seems to want to protect her and other times be as far away as possible.
Camdyn MacKenna had been the one to rescue her, carrying her out of the dungeon in his arms. He had used his ability as one of the Warriors, an immortal with special powers, to do so. It wasn't to say he was not intrigued by the beautiful woman with strength and integrity but he would not take it further. He couldn't. He had loved before and watched her grow old and die. He would not love another mortal.
But his desires both to love her and stay away from her are thwarted by the need to find Deirdre's sister Laria. Deirdre had been the one to unbind the gods inside these men and unleash a war when she couldn't control them as she planned. Laria is the only one they believe can defeat her twin. The power that has hidden her for all these many years chooses Saffron and Camdyn alone to rescue the woman. They must work together, but will it bring them closer or will Camdyn's fears tear them apart. Can all who are fighting for good defeat the evil that is threatening the remaining Druid's?
MIDNIGHT'S SEDUCTION is a must read for any genre reader but especially anyone who likes hunky men who are defenders against evil. The characters though fantastic with their magic and being alive for centuries are also quite believable and intriguing. The setting is modern with a strong mix of swords and magic. It's filled with nonstop action, puzzling situations, some modern women touches, understandable fears as well as a number of very fiery intimate moments. It is not necessary to read the previous Dark Warrior novels but after this one you will want to catch up on the other fascinating characters you find in this book.
