Romance Paranormal | Fantasy Urban

Natalya Stravinsky is not your typical shapeshifter oozing power and confidence. A werewolf with OCD tendencies elicits some concern among the other shifters. Having earned a chance to undergo the trails to reenter her New Jersey pack (see Coveted), Nat continues with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and support group to keep her obsessive tendencies in check, though it isn't easy. One suggestion from her therapist is to keep the OCD in check is to occasionally step outside of her comfort zone.

Well, it doesn't get much more uncomfortable then a road trip with your brother and ex-boyfriend to rescue your father who has been taken by the Russian werewolf mafia due to a moon debt he must repay. Nat isn't sure why Thorn, the man she loved who is about to be mated to another woman, is along for the ride. She's determined to focus on bringing her father home safely, whatever the cost. And the cost may turn out to be higher than expected.

KEPT is a fun and creative twist on the paranormal genre. Nat is an imperfect but engaging heroine. She is quirky and obsessive but that doesn't overshadow the fact that she is brave, smart, and loyal. The characters are diverse and quirky, instantly capturing my interest. The plot had plenty of unexpected twists and turns that keep me reading late into the night.

SUMMARY

A funny and sexy new paranormal romance, perfect for fans of Charlaine Harris and Patricia Briggs, Kept features the charmingly quirky werewolf, Natalya Stravinsky, as she navigates the minefields of love and war in the Garden State.

Fresh from defending her pack in battle, Natalya Stravinsky, a whip–smart werewolf with a lovable neurotic streak, wants a little rest and relaxation. Once an outcast, she's now eager to rejoin the ranks of her New Jersey pack, and has even gotten a handle on her obsessive urge to hoard holiday ornaments. Yet Nat barely has time to revel in her progress before the next crisis comes howling at her door.

Nat's father has suddenly gone missing, captured by the Russian werewolf mafia. And as Nat steps up to save her dad from a mob boss's deadly game, two men step in to play another round for her heart: her gorgeous alpha ex–boyfriend, Thorn, and her new flame, the sweetly sensitive wizard Nick. With her life growing more harried by the minute, Nat must stay cool, calm, and collected . . . or else risk losing everything.
