BITTER BLOOD is the thirteenth (Can you believe it's been that long already?) book in the Morganville Vampires series and it certainly does not disappoint. In fact, I venture to say that Rachel Caine never disappoints with any book.
Vampires and human are in the midst of a dangerous clash. Claire Danvers is connected to both sides and refuses to choose. But now there are ghosts being thrown into the middle of all this? A TV show has shown up in Morganville to investigate that very possibility, which makes things all the more difficult. Now, in addition to the already dangerous tensions coming from every angle, Claire has to worry about the strange happenings of her life and her town ending up on national television. Can she keep things from escalating and keep the people she loves out of danger?
Long ago, when I started reading the Morganville Vampires series, I liked it from the get go. While I obviouslyΒ enjoyed it instantly, I never imagined how much excitement this series would bring to my imagination over the years.
I'll admit that I didn't realize that this would become one of those epic absolutely-gotta-have-it series. Every single book still rests on my bookshelf, ready for a reread at any moment. Each book is just as exciting as the one before. And each book is just as intriguing every time I read it!
It's not hard for me to say that I am greatly looking forward to more Morganville Vampires books. I look forward to every book releasedby the amazing Rachel Caine. For those who haven't started the Morganville Vampires series yet, these books are an absolute must read especially for fans of the paranormal.Β
