I'm a huge fan of this J Lynn's YA books so I wanted to try her Brazen books. TEMPTING THE PLAYER is book two of the Gamble Brothers series and Lynn definitely knows how to heat things up! With a hero like Chad Gamble, an all-star pitcher for the Nationals, Lynn is really able to let loose and have some fun! Paired with Bridget Rogers, a sexy redhead, the story goes from simmering to singeing-your- eyebrows hot! But when Bridget and Chad are caught in a compromising position and Chad's professional career is in jeopardy, the two of them pretend to go steady in an effort to make the rumors disappear. Little do they know that neither of them is pretending anymore.

As my first of Lynn's Adult Contemporary books, I found that I enjoyed her writing style a lot. It's engaging, fast- paced and super sexy, but didn't necessarily seem different or new to me. However, I do like the way she was able to build a romance in a way that doesn't suddenly make Chad seem suddenly tame. I am definitely glad I decided to explore more of Lynn's writing! She can never do wrong!
