Paige Graham is a successful graphic designer. She has
escaped to a cabin in the Wyoming wilderness to lick her wounds
after being left at the altar. Paige finds that she isn't
necessarily heartbroken as much as embarrassed. She just
wants some time away from everyone to sort through her
feelings and let the commotion die down.
John Cinca awakens in the woods at the bottom of a
waterfall, badly bruised and beat up. He is wearing a suit,
has a holster with a gun, but no wallet or any other type of
identification. And he has no idea who he is or how he got
there.
John stumbles upon Paige's cabin while he is wandering in
the woods. After letting him stay the night, she convinces
him get some help. They stumble upon a gruesome murder
scene at next cabin and find that someone is trying to frame
John -- sending them on the run. John and Paige are off on
the adventure of a lifetime, running from the police and
hired hit men -- taking them from Montana to the Ukraine and
back to Wyoming. In the process, they discover an untapped
passion and love that they never expected.
UNDERCOVER MEMORIES is a fast-paced, no holds barred
romantic adventure that kept me on the edge of my seat from
the first page to the last. I thought this was a very well-
written book and Ms. Sharpe did a wonderful job with her
scene building -- I felt like I was walking through the
Wyoming Mountains, I could feel the crisp air, smell the
pine needles -- it was fantastic. A definite must read!
Reeling after being left at the altar, Paige Graham seeks
comfort in her secluded cabin. But there's someone sleeping
in her bed—a sharp-eyed, sexy stranger who claims to have no
memory. While a little digging reveals John's true identity,
Paige knows there's more to his past and more to her
feelings.
He may have been told who he is, but bodyguard John Cinca
isn't satisfied with the answers, especially when they place
Paige in danger. With his protective instinct in high gear,
John vows to uncover his true identity while keeping her
safe. But what if recovering his memory means he is the one
Paige should be afraid of?
